After 3.5 years learning Analytics Engineering from the best-of-the-best, it's time to move, learn, and build again. I’ll miss this talented team, our partners and especially the customers! I’m confident dbt will march on as the de facto of data transformation. The launch of "Fusion" in a few weeks will raise the ADLC bar even further with SQL comprehension + VS Code ext. + State-aware orchestration (my last pitch!). It’s impressive how dbt customers are maturing; delivering faster, trustworthy data that improves decision-making.  What's really exciting now is how this improved data quality also lays the foundation for AI business initiatives! Across my career spanning InfoSec/Cyber, Consulting, Cloud, and Data & Analytics I've aimed to learn new, big trends. Most enjoyable, is linking how solutions can unlock capabilities that address real-world business problems. During my 4 yrs at Confluent, I learned how Kafka solved a range of business-critical use cases from real-time fraud detection to revolutionize customer experiences. Now even more powerful with GenAI/RAG use cases. So today, I’m excited to announce that I’ve joined the team at Glean! As #2 on Enterprise Tech 30, listed on Forbes 50 AI, and reaching $100M in 3 years, Glean is positioned well to help companies efficiently find their own info, generate insights, and automate tasks with its search, prompts, and agentic AI capabilities.  Here are some great examples: - Duolingo achieved 5x ROI, saving 500 hours per month on search.  - Confluent reached 70% employee adoption, saving 15,000 hours monthly.  - Databricks sees Glean as “an internal search that actually works”, using it across Google Workspace, Salesforce, Atlassian, and Slack.
