So I got into PT just because I grew up playing a lot of sports and I have three brothers, so I played sports. And so I've always been around and seen a lot of injuries and I've just been interested in helping people get back and reach their full potential and just be the best version of themselves. My areas of special interest are just general orthopedics like foothills is and then also more sports performance based clinics. My favorite skills to work on with patients are just my hands on skills as I'm just kind of growing and getting used to physically working with patients who have injuries or post surgery. So I think that's very enjoyable. And then I've also been growing my exercise skill set and just helping patients progress through their exercises as they continually get better. My most memorable patient interactions with high school lineman. Who comes in where we have to do some exercises where we kind of push back and forth with each other and I have to kind of work on pushing them back. But he's always telling me that I can push harder. And it's a quite humbling experience when a high schooler tells you to push harder and I physically am giving them all I have to push. My favorite part of the rotation so far has just been learning and applying all the skills that we I learned in the classroom. And just allowing myself to practice and work on all my manual skills as well as just the mentorships that I've been receiving from all the therapists here has been super helpful. To my development into my own as a physical therapist. And then I've also learned a whole bunch about the TV show Summer I Turned Pretty that I never thought I would have learned. But thanks to the office manager and my CI and clinic director, I am growing in multiple ways here.
