Key Takeaways from #PIPC for an Industry Newcomer: I recently attended the PASA - Payments Association of South Africa International Payments Conference (PIPC) for the first time as a new member of the Electrum team. The conference was an insightful experience - as a newcomer to the payments industry, the energy and depth of discussion were incredibly valuable. 🔵Future of Payments: The sessions provided key insight into the convergence of traditional banking and fintech. We delved deep into the strategic importance of initiatives like the move to ISO 20022 and the continuing momentum of Real-Time Payments (RTP) in South Africa. 🟣Regulatory Depth: Gained a much deeper appreciation for the complex ecosystem governed by PASA and the SARB including how they focus on balancing strict financial regulation with the need to foster open architecture and innovation. 🔴The Need for Interoperability: The core message reinforced the need for systems that can talk to each other seamlessly. Interoperability is non-negotiable for future growth, demanding an open architecture that can easily connect different schemes, providers, and channels to meet the collective efficiency and financial inclusion targets of Vision 2025. Beyond the insightful content, the opportunity to connect with other professionals driving change in this dynamic sector was invaluable. I’m energised and ready to apply this knowledge to help Electrum and our partners continue to pioneer the payments landscape. #PIPC2025 #PASA #ElectrumSoftware

🚀 NAYA is now a member of the U.S. Faster Payments Council Adding NAYA's voice to the U.S. Faster Payments Council is a big step for our team. Faster payments only work when data quality, reconciliation, and controls keep up with the speed. That’s the gap we’re closing at NAYA, and FPC is the right table to push that forward with banks, networks, and fintech peers. If you’re building on RTP/FedNow or planning an ISO 20022 roadmap, happy show how we can help. #FasterPayments #Fintech #Infrastructure
