Gulf Companies’ Post

Last week, our CEO Kent Wilfur was honored to represent Gulf Companies and the natural gas industry on Capitol Hill, joining fellow industry leaders for an important discussion hosted by the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America, The INGAA Foundation, Inc., and Natural Allies for a Clean Energy Future. The session, “Natural Gas 101: The Value of Natural Gas Infrastructure,” brought together key policymakers and energy experts to explore how natural gas infrastructure is supporting the reliability of the electric grid, reducing CO₂ emissions, and playing a pivotal role in enabling a cleaner, more secure #energy future. Kent shared his perspective on how natural gas has been a driving force behind the U.S.’s reduction in greenhouse gas emissions since 2005, and why it remains a key partner in supporting the expansion of renewable energy. We’re proud to be part of conversations that help shape balanced, forward-thinking energy policy and grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with industry peers and legislative staff on the future of American energy. #NaturalGas #EnergyInfrastructure #OilandGas #CleanEnergy #Sustainability #EPCM #EngineeringExcellence

Gulf Companies - We are so grateful to Kent Wilfur for joining us in our nation’s capital and bringing such valuable insights to this dialogue with legislative staff. We look forward to continuing this important conversation—because when it comes to addressing the energy trilemma, natural gas must be part of the solution.
