You must have heard of RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), if you follows little bit of AI news. Here is a scenario where RAG can be defined simple way as non coders can also understand. Every time Large Language Models (LLMs) don’t have the data you need. They are trained up to a certain cutoff and won’t know about your company’s internal docs, private knowledge base, or the latest updates. That’s where RAG comes in. Think of it as giving the model an EXTRA MEMORY: When you ask a question, the model “retrieves” the most relevant info from this memory and then generates the answer.
