Hispanic Heritage Month is a special time to celebrate and reflect on the traditions that connect us to our roots. For my family that's making homemade pastelitos, I wanted to give back to them as a thank you for always making sure I stayed close to my Dominican root. First, I picked out some cards and they're in Spanish which makes them extra special for my mom. I ended up picking this photo cue with pictures of special family moments to keep them closed from my abuela. I ended up picking the Ask Grandma mug because she loves her afternoon cafecito and I packed it up and headed over to my grandma so we can make some delicious pastelitos with the Hallmark Vida collection. I could say gracias in a way that. It was just as special as they are.
