🚨 New Contract Opportunity – Java Developer | Banking Sector | Amsterdam + Remote 🚨 We're working with a sector-leading consultancy on a new engagement with one of their flagship banking clients – and we're looking for a strong Java Developer to join the team. 🔹 6-month initial contract (high chance of extension) 🔹 Competitive market rates 🔹 Hybrid working – 2 days/week on-site in Amsterdam, the rest remote ✅ Key Skills We're Looking For: Strong Core Java development experience Solid with Spring Boot and related frameworks Experience designing and building RESTful APIs (OpenAPI knowledge is a bonus) Strong focus on testing and code quality – unit & integration testing Able to design secure and scalable applications Experience with event-driven systems using Kafka Familiar with Azure Cloud & Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) Bonus: Knowledge of online payments or payment acquiring A problem-solving mindset and ownership of end-to-end delivery.
