“How do I demonstrate that my SaMD solves a real NHS problem?” It’s a common challenge for health tech developers. Even with strong tech, adoption won’t happen unless procurement teams and clinicians see a clear unmet need. If you find yourself asking something similar, why not ask Hardian? We guide companies to align business cases with real clinical and economic needs, identifying the unmet need and helping you stand out to procurement teams and investors alike. In our latest blog, "How to ensure your product solves a real NHS problem," we explore why showing this alignment is the first step toward adoption. Telemed Doctors....Nobody cares about your Teledoc/Zocdoc/Docdoc/duckduck profile! Unless you have an infinite no. of reviews OR You're perfectly optimised You'll be left in a black ocean of providers So how do you differentiate yourself from this mess? Simple, you position yourself as an expert, not just another listing. That means: Build authority: Share insights, cases, and outcomes that prove your expertise. Control your narrative: Don’t rely on platforms that own your traffic. Create assets you control—website, email list, patient education content. Overshare proof: Testimonials, case studies, partnerships. Reviews are one thing, but real stories make you stand out. Be everywhere, selectively: Not every platform. Just the ones where your patients actually search. Offer clarity: Patients don’t want “a doctor.” They want their doctor who specializes in solving their exact problem. Stop blending in. Start positioning. That’s how you escape the black ocean.

The healthcare decision-making paradigm has fundamentally shifted, but most device companies haven't adapted. Patients are no longer passive recipients. They're: - Researching treatment options independently - Participating actively in clinical decisions - Influencing provider choices through advocacy - Demanding real-world evidence beyond clinical data Companies still using provider-only strategies are using yesterday's playbook with tomorrow's customers. The future belongs to those who engage patients as strategic partners. You can read more about this in our report: How Patient Engagement Drives Medical Device Market Success (link in comments) Matthew Boyd Michael Fallone Jeff Trail Boyd Biomedical

Running a clinical research site is no small feat—and the behind-the-scenes realities are intense. Overhead costs can creep in quickly, and too often they’re hidden or underestimated. Today’s interactive discussions dug into what’s really out there, what makes sense (and what doesn’t), how sites can effectively push back, and what tools or strategies can help them make a stronger case. Conversations like these are essential—because when sites are supported, patients and trials benefit. 🩺 Clinicians are losing valuable time to broken workflows. 📊 A 2021 JAMA study found primary care physicians spend 36 minutes per visit in electronic health records — including after-hours. 📑 A 2022 BMJ analysis showed that guideline + protocol lookups cut into direct patient care. That’s time clinicians should be spending with patients — not digging through docs. So I built Datalink Co-Pilot (BETA) 🚀 👉 Instant access to hospital + clinic protocols and workflows, right where clinicians work. Early feedback has been energizing: 💬 “This is a game changer.” 💬 “I love it.” We’re still in prototype mode, but the roadmap is clear: 🔹 Start with protocol lookups. 🔹 Grow into a smarter clinical workflow assistant. 🔹 Build toward a scalable platform for decision support + compliance. ⚡ If you’re a clinician, health system, or investor curious about where this could go, I’d love to connect and share more.

https://lnkd.in/gkcCpRkt Missed posting this earlier, but wanted to share what we’ve been working on with DataLink Clinical. Building this has been about one thing — helping clinicians spend less time fighting data and more time with patients.

A strong differentiated value proposition needs a single minded focus on demonstrating how your product delivers value and improves outcomes. Talk to us about how to select the key outcomes and develop the evidence
Are you wracking your brain, asking: “How can I actually prove my product improves patient outcomes?” Why not ask Hardian? To secure approval and market access, you need to show a clear, evidence-based link between your product and a real patient benefit. This is your value proposition. That means choosing one recognised clinical outcome, defining how it will be measured, and adding a relevant comparator. Link the results to cost, capacity, or quality so they matter to HTA and procurement. Back this all with rigorous competitor analysis to prove differentiation. If you’re not sure where to begin, Hardian can design your outcome and evidence plan so regulators, clinicians, and payers see a clear path to value. COUCH Capabilities - Part 2: Building Meaningful Connections in Clinical Trials through Patient Engagement Surveys. At COUCH Health, we know that successful clinical research goes beyond recruitment; it’s about keeping people engaged every step of the way. That’s why our Patient Engagement Surveys are one of the most important things we do. They allow us to listen deeply, understand real experiences, and turn patient needs into real-world practice. By gathering real-time feedback and insights from participants, we help: ✔️ Strengthen communication between patients and study teams ✔️ Build trust and transparency throughout the trial journey ✔️ Keep participants informed, motivated, and empowered When patients feel heard, they stay engaged; improving retention, data quality, and ultimately, trial outcomes. Because true engagement isn’t a one-time action; it’s an ongoing conversation. Let’s create research experiences that put people first. #ClinicalTrials #PatientEngagement #HealthEquity #LifeSciences #ResearchThatCares #COUCHHealth
