My experience with the Hard Rock property in Atlantic City was extremely disappointing. I recently reached out to Nick Balles, who I was told was the Marketing Mgr, for some HR promotional items for a combat Veterans event. After numerous days of unanswered voicemails, he answered the phone. Mr Balles was dismissive, cavalier, and rude. He didn't even know that HR offered discounts and upgrades to military Veterans, and yet he said he was the Marketing Manager for the Casino. He told me to visit the customer service in the casino without so much as an insincere "thank you for your service." Veterans don't need accolades, but a modicum of respect is due, just like any other customer. This is exactly the kind of representation Hard Rock does NOT need. My group has heard this story and I am sharing it with other groups. Veterans are typically not high rollers, but they are customers. This was a terrible experience, and other casinos in Atlantic City will benefit from Mr. Balles' pathetic attitude and communications. My previous experience with HR indicates that HR deserves better than Nick Balles.
No surprise here! Congrats to the entire Hard Rock team. So well deserved! 🥰🎉
I very much enjoyed working at Seminole Hard at Coconut Creek. And it was great being one of the sportsbook managers to help bring the vision into reality.
