Hospitality Association York (HAY)’s Post

Thank you to Sarah Loftus for inviting both Stefan Micevski MBA FIH and I to represent the Hospitality Association York (HAY) and to partake in Make It York tenth anniversary celebrations. It was pleasing to see such a large attendance, clearly demonstrating the vital importance and the role ‘Make it York’ has, for our City and its continued reputational and commercial triumphs. We were reminded of the numerous successes that the team’s - past & present - hard work has generated over the years, both for tourists and residents alike: They of course include the Christmas Market, Christmas decorations, the Ice Trail, Shambles Market and so much more. Having been involved at the planning stages of the amalgamation - with a certain apprehension then - it was insightful to listen to Lady Jane Gibson OBE talking of her long-term vision and involvement. Thank you to stuart paver for his positive final notes regarding the bright future of the company. 🥂 All-in-all a great evening of togetherness and celebrations!
