Why will you not recognise and fix the problem under the scheme for building a home? The policy allows 6 months after buying land to enter a building contract. Every lender under the scheme will not allow six months. They require the land contract and build contract to be lodged simultaneously, which is impossible when land finance is generally 14-21 days. There is a total disconnect between Government policy, Housing Australia rules and Lender requirements.

What are they going to buy? The tents of the homeless families. Why don't you stop doing theoretical feel good bollocks, and just go back to basics, or at least do it and find another way to help first home owners. How are you helping them just giving them an overpriced asset that may well pop. We don't know of Albaneses star crossed love Ying Ping will make it through a Plenum yet that might stuff it up for him. Honestly have to believe this money wastaheand irresponsibility is willfull incompetence. No one could be this stupid.

Great initiative. Downside - Higher interest over the term of loan.
