Charity Excellence founder, opens mouth to change feet, builds things

New Fund - opened yesterday. Green Community Grants Programme. Up to £25,000 for non profits in England, Scotland and Wales with income between £10,000 and £1 million pa that are contributing towards nature recovery and responding to the climate emergency – and to improve places for nature and people’s access to them. Within this, funding can also be used for a wider range of sustainable activities, including recycling, litter picking, beach cleans or sustainable transport. Disappointing to see the £1 million turnover ceiling rearing it's ugly head again. Wonder if funders will ever get that many 'medium' sized charities often provide services that are costly to deliver and can struggle just as much as the smalls - and often more. £25K could make a big difference to their ability to deliver initiatives such as this one.
