Our recent study, "𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘌𝘏 𝘓𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘔𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘹 𝘗𝘊𝘙 𝘓𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘋𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘌𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘢 𝘙𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘥 (𝘔𝘍𝘏𝘗𝘉-30) 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘓𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘋𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯," has been published in the Journal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL. The research evaluates the IEH Multiplex PCR system alongside the Health Canada MFHPB-30 reference method for detecting 𝘓𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢 spp. and 𝘓𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘺𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴 on plastic, sealed concrete, and stainless steel surfaces. Results show comparable performance between the two methods, with the IEH Multiplex PCR System detecting 𝘓𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢 after 24 hours of enrichment.
