Twenty-five years ago, the USS Cole #DDG67 reminded the world what American resolve looks like. After the tragic attack that claimed 17 Sailors and wounded 39 more, Ingalls Shipbuilders stood ready, not just to repair a ship, but to honor their sacrifice. Nearly a thousand shipbuilders worked with purpose and pride to rebuild the Cole, returning her to service as a symbol of strength, endurance, and unity. Today, we remember the heroes of October 12, 2000 and reaffirm the promise behind every keel we lay: to build with integrity, stand with the fleet, and serve those who serve our nation. Watch the video below to hear from Ingalls shipbuilders:

This gave me chills. Great story and remembering the fallen and celebrating the work it takes to build these massive ships. Good work Ingalls.

I got choked up watching this - thank you for your dedication in getting her back into service and honoring the memory of those 17 souls.
