PMI's water conservation initiative in India

Water scarcity is an issue in India, but at PMI, we're turning this challenge into an opportunity. Our water conservation initiative is empowering tobacco farmers in the drought-prone Indian regions of Andhra Pradesh to help secure their livelihoods. Over the span of three years, the initiative successfully established a total of 141 ponds and enabled local farmers to manage and maintain these ponds, enhancing their ability to irrigate fields during water-scarce periods.
