Metastatic prostate cancer requires strategic timing. Instead of waiting for treatment resistance, I sometimes apply the bipolar strategy before resistance sets in. This means carefully cycling androgen deprivation and testosterone to get ahead of the cancer’s progression. Evidence may still be developing, but thoughtful timing and application matter. IU School of Medicine researchers led the largest clinical trial of its kind to see if sharing personalized risk information would encourage more screenings.
