The signs are pointing to growth at Harry's: The US razor blade manufacturer is continuing to expand its Thuringian site in Eisfeld and will be investing a double-digit million amount over the next two years. The company announced this during a visit of a Thuringian business delegation that is touring the USA this week. According to the company, the money will primarily be used to finance machinery for a new production line. Eisfeld is the only production site of the razor blade specialist that covers the entire value chain. The production of razor blades has a tradition of more than a hundred years in Eisfeld in southern Thuringia. Since 2014, Feintechnik Eisfeld GmbH has belonged to the US start-up Harry's, which has repeatedly invested heavily in the expansion of the site since the takeover. #legthueringen #thuringia #invest Mammoth Brands Thüringer Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Landwirtschaft & Ländlichen Raum Colette Boos-John Andreas Krey Damir Agic Connie Braun Carine Cornez-Fliege Stefan Blechschmidt Mario Voigt Jeff Lipkin Florian Schebitz Herbert Stütz

M&A Deal of the Week: Rayonier merges with PotlatchDeltic Price: All‑stock transaction worth about $8.2 billion including debt. The combination will create the second-largest publicly traded timber and wood products company in the U.S. Terms: PotlatchDeltic investors receive 1.7339 Rayonier shares for each of their shares. This values their stake at $44.11 per share and about $3.41 billion overall, an 8.25 % premium to PotlatchDeltic’s pre‑deal closing price Scale: The merged company will control roughly 4.2 million acres of timberland across 11 U.S. states, run seven manufacturing plants, and split ownership between Rayonier (54 %) and PotlatchDeltic (46 %) Headquarters will be in Atlanta with regional offices in Spokane, Washington, and Wildlight, Florida Timing and drivers: The parties expect to close in mid‑2026. Leaders say U.S. tariffs on imported timber and a softer housing market make domestic scale attractive and should strengthen demand for the combined company’s products https://lnkd.in/dgma6UxQ

“My dad started the company in 1976… and here we are.” John T. Dralle, PE shares how A.J. Dralle, Inc. continues as a family-owned business -- manufacturing #AirFiltration systems that help factories meet environmental standards, achieve cleaner finishes, and extend paint spray booth life. We value that legacy. Many ICAFe Companies began—and still operate—as family-owned businesses. That’s why #IndustrialFinishing partnerships like this matter.

Anchor Glass completes recapitalisation Anchor Glass Container Corporation is set to invest in its US manufacturing sites after completing a recapitalisation ✅ . With the backing of new majority owners – Canyon Capital Advisors, Millstreet Capital, and UBS – the transaction has reduced the company’s debt by more than 60% and provided $100 million of new capital to the container glass manufacturer. The Tampa, Florida, #USA-headquartered company said it would accelerate strategic growth and modernisation as well as create more value for its customers, employees, communities, suppliers, and investors. Nipesh H. Shah, President and Chief Executive Officer of Anchor Glass said it was a transformative moment that marked the start of a new era for the company. “We’ve materially strengthened our balance sheet, secured new #capital, and are now primed for sustained investment in our assets, our people, and our customers. “This foundation better positions us to execute as One Anchor – advancing safety, delivering a flawless customer experience, and building capabilities that reduce industrial cost.” The new capital will be deployed toward furnace rebuilds and capacity expansions across the company’s US network. It will enable Anchor Glass to better serve customers in the food, beverage, spirits, ready-to-drink, and craft beer end markets that depend on sustainable, high-quality glass packaging. By 2030, Anchor Glass expects to have invested more than $1 billion in capital improvements, underscoring its long-term commitment to growth, innovation, and supply security for its customers. 🚢 PhilaPort is on track for another record-breaking year, with 462K Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEU) moved in the first half of the year! That’s a lot of containers, and a sign that demand for logistics, cold storage, and warehouse space isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Even with a dip from Q1 to Q2, volume is still 37.5% above the 10-year average. https://lnkd.in/eiFzRWDX #Philadelphia #Industrial #AYdifference
