A brief intro to our exciting project!
Director of the Electoral Psychology Observatory, Associate Vice-President and Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research and Professor of political science at the LSE, Co-Founder CODES Collaborative Democracy Solutions
CODES stands for "Collaborative Democratic Solutions", and it is an initiative led by LSE Innovations to put decades of our award winning and frontier breaking research into the minds of citizens and the ergonomics of democratic processes to the service of public and private actors keen to optimise electoral and consultative processes. CODES now has a website: www.codes.technology It will grow in coming days to showcase three of our first unique (and we believe revolutionary) ideas. We are first and foremost academics, so we focus first and foremost on doing what is right for citizens and putting them at the heart of our thinking. We prioritise ethics and transparency, notably through our central concept of "Clearbox". We believe in rigorous concepts, analysis, methodologies, and have designed a unique "CODE process" to bring together the absolute requirements of scientific research, and the societal relevance which will enable it to result in real life solution. If you have any question about CODES or want to find out more about what we do, watch this space, or contact me or my colleagues sarah harrison and Ioana Vitan www.codes.technology #research #innovation #LSEInnovation #science #policy #elections #consultations #socialscience #technology #future #design #ai
