IPUR and HKU Business School host webinars on healthcare decision-making

In case you missed it, IPUR and HKU Business School's Institute of Behavioural and Decision Science are organising two webinars that will explore the intricacies of healthcare decision-making from both the patient and provider perspectives. On 27 August, Dr Jing (Jill) Lei will examine how socio-economic status influences whether patients choose aggressive or conservative treatment options across a range of health conditions. Dr Lei is a Professor of Marketing and Head of the Department of Management and Marketing at the University of Melbourne. Her primary #research interest lies in consumer decision-making in contexts such as food, finance, and #healthcare. On 3 September, Dr Jingcun Cao will explore the impact of physician education seminars on prescription #behaviours and drug adoption, focusing on new evidence from China’s healthcare system. Dr Cao joined the University of Hong Kong in 2020 and holds a PhD degree in Marketing. His expertise lies in mobile marketing, online education, healthcare, applied machine learning and policy intervention.
