Thales Alenia Space: Cygnus XL to the ISS On September 14, 2025, Cygnus NG-23 XL launched from Cape Canaveral aboard Falcon 9. With 5,000 kg capacity and 36 m³ volume, the new XL increases transport to the ISS by 33%. Thales Alenia Space teams completed production, assembly, and testing of the 23rd Pressurized Cargo Module (PCM), ensuring safe and advanced missions. NG-23 is dedicated to William McCool of Space Shuttle Columbia. Since 2013, Cygnus has delivered over 71,000 kg of cargo, and XL further boosts capacity.
