🤖 Humanoids... in action? 😅 From public demos to trade shows and even on the streets, humanoid robots are attracting attention everywhere. Some of it for the right reasons, and some for the wrong ones. Whether funny or concerning, these “accidents” remind us of one important fact: 👉 While humanoids are fascinating and a great way to engage the public, they’re not yet ready to operate autonomously in society.   Complex, subjective or mixed tasks often expose the limitations of current technology, and that’s when slips, falls, and awkward malfunctions happen. 💭 In fact, a few days ago I shared some ideas from the IFR report on humanoids and their potential in industry. There is no doubt that they are generating enormous interest and attracting significant investment… But today, they are still a work in progress.   ❓ What do you think: are humanoids closer to being a useful tool or still mainly a showpiece? 👉 At Moving Robots, we optimize your logistics flows through mobile robotics (AGVs and AMRs), boosting efficiency and competitiveness with a clear, realistic, and vendor-agnostic strategy. 🟠 Don’t gamble with your automation budget, count on expert guidance 💬 #Humanoid #Robotics #Automation #Innovation #Future #accident

Javier Miguélez 👏👏👏👏👏

Still a very “fragile” technology, considering everything that can happen to it in this type of environment... At least it's a way to learn about its current limitations... It's not a good idea to make them fight, that's for sure! 😅

Humanoids are exciting, but still more showpiece than reliable tool. The real progress seems to come from task specific robotics where consistency matters most. For now, they’re great at drawing crowds… just not walking through them. 😅

Great insights, Javier! Do you see specific industries where humanoids might become more practical sooner rather than later? Your words inspire let’s link now

Très loin de la perfection divine

Wait.... but I just saw a post stating they are - already - capable of replacing human in factories. Totally confused here !!! 🤣

Absolutely, humanoids are fascinating but still evolving. Do you see specific industries where their practical use might become mainstream soon? Your insights glow shall we link?

Looks like our Gen Z kids shouldn’t give up on school yet. Will still need that higher level of thinking.
