When NASA's Artemis mission needed to test spacesuit gloves and boots in cryogenic conditions, we were happy to lend a hand 🤝 Learn more about the testing that took place in a unique chamber at JPL – and what's ahead: go.nasa.gov/3RziDer

  • A white, bulky spacesuit glove is shown inside an ultra cold testing chamber. The glove has red and copper wires across the hands and layered all around and under it. The glove is attached to a metal mechanism with silver coating all around the inside of the chamber.
  • A shot shows two people putting the glove inside a small testing chamber that is connected to a large silver cylinder labeled "CITADEL." One person is sitting in a chair with their hand on the glove, while the second person is standing beside them looking at the glove.
