With Joint Commission streamlining its standards for hospitals and critical access hospitals as part of our Accreditation 360 transformation, healthcare organizations have asked us how the survey process will be affected. We want to assure healthcare organizations that there are no major changes to the survey process itself, and the streamlining of the standards did not introduce any new expectations. If your organization meets requirements now, you should expect to meet requirements when the new standards go into effect Jan. 1, 2026. ISQua was meant to be the global guardian of healthcare quality and patient safety — but its silence today raises serious ethical and moral questions. Healthcare accreditation should never be a commercial enterprise; it should build trust, transparency, and accountability, not fuel corruption and conflict of interest. Accreditation must bring confidence — not doubt. 🔗 Read my full analysis: The Dangers of Healthcare Quality Accreditation by Profit-Making Private Accreditation Boards – ISQua’s Silence: A Threat to Patient Care ISQua
