Something pretty cool.... We've had a few The Good Food Family app users get in touch to ask if we can add recipe videos, as it would help them follow the steps better. Well, of course!! We thought that was a great idea! So from this week's update, a selection of recipes will now have direct links within the recipe page to our YouTube shorts channel to help with this (link in comments). You can of course view full screen in app. Overtime, every recipe will have a tutorial video attached, we will build this library over the coming months. WATCH THIS SPACE! Please feel free to comment and share at will on the YouTube page, we love the engagement! *note - some iPhones aren't automatically installing updates from the app store. We are working on it ;)

If you have an Apple Vision Pro, I wanted to make a special recommendation of Graeme Devine's Checkmate Chronicles for the AVP. It has a strangely low number of recommendations in the store, which is odd because it was (I believe) one of the original launch apps and extremely well done. Overtime, it has also gotten lots of nice interaction tweaks. I'd stopped playing it for a while but when I opened it up recently to try one of the daily puzzles, I became aware of the satisfying way the AI chess pieces glide across the board. Besides the meditation apps, this is another reason to put your device on each day -- to solve the 3 daily chess puzzles! And if you place the chess board on your desk, it will appear there every time you open up Checkmate Chronicles. Please give it a chance. It just constantly improves. [I had one problem where the app fell into an unsteady state between updates. Uninstalling and re-installing easily fixed that, for me.] #spatialcomputing #applevisionpro

Are these practices on your team? - You have your employees start/stop a timer. - You have them use screen recording apps. - You have weekly 1-1s to discuss performance. Then your team has an issue. And it's YOU. Instead: - Create tasks based on outcome. - Make sure your team has goal alignment. - Leave them alone and let them cook! If you're not ready to give your employees this level of ownership, you're not ready to have employees at all.
