Absolutely! The inconsistency in enforcement is absurd. State insurance commissioners created this situation. so no one to blame but themselves. You look at strong regulatory states such as MA, NY and compare them to states where enforcement is essentially non-existent. i had one hearing where the person from the state insurance commissioner's office clearly did not understand simple issues with VAs (inverse pricing and cost-inefficient subaccounts) and claimed not to know that FIAs typically reserve the right to unilaterally change key terms of the annuity annually, including the guaranted interest rate. #annuities #transparency #investorprotection

Did you know that the term "Swiss Army knife" was coined by American soldiers after World War II because they had trouble pronouncing the German word "Offiziersmesser", which means "officer's knife"? The knives originated from knives issued to Swiss soldiers beginning in 1886. The name "Swiss Army knife" has become a metaphor for a compact, ingeniously designed tool with multiple uses. This can also be said of life insurance. We call it the Swiss Army Knife of Financial Products! #swissarmyknife #lifeinsurance #multipleuse #metaphors #financial

As you navigate the challenges of military life and prepare for the transition to civilian life, having the right life insurance coverage in place can provide peace of mind and financial security for you and your family. 👉🏾Here are some ways life insurance can help active duty and transitioning military members prepare for life after their contract is up: 1. Transition Assistance: For transitioning military members, life insurance can provide a financial cushion during the adjustment period as you move from military to civilian life. It can help cover living expenses, job search costs, and other financial commitments. 5. What could Boeing have to do with nursing home abuse, Medicare fraud, and the war in Gaza? Our tale begins in 2020, when a 27 year old orthodox yeshiva student with no experience in air transportation bought El Al. Eli Rozenberg plunked down $150M of daddy Kenneth Rozenberg’s money, which came from his ownership of from US Centers Healthcare nursing homes. [1] Everyone knew Eli was a front for his dad, and the deal was prolly illegal. [2] But it was allowed to happen. In 2023, NYAG Leticia James sued Kenneth Rosenberg for $83M in Medicare fraud and serious elder abuse. [3] Two days ago, El Al indicated it would purchase 20 737 Max planes. [4] The announcement comes not long after Boeing reported only four 737 Max aircraft sold in May and none for the past four weeks. [5, 6] While the FAA has helped Boeing to produce new quality and safety plans, it has capped 737 Max production for the foreseeable future. The agency is also maintaining significantly increased safety inspector presence at Boeing and primary supplier Spirit Aerospace. [7] Hm. I guess Government doesn’t trust ‘em and is moving in until further notice. If only they did this with banks. Now, apparently in response to the El Al announcement, Goldman and UBS have maintained buy ratings on Boeing. [8, 9] Why? Since the start of the war in Gaza, El Al has enjoyed record profits. It has a near monopoly on flights to North America, and has raised prices 19% since hostilities commenced. [10] The conflict has hurt tourism badly, and the carrier has made up the business by carrying reservists and people visiting family members, with air carrier insurance guaranteed by the state. [11, 12] Israel’s war has been funded with Israel bond debt. US states were quick to purchase Israel bonds, from NY to Arizona. [13] So: A Medicare fraudster and elder abuser (I’d call him a murderer) defrauds NYS of $83M (at least) and uses it to buy the Israeli flag airline with his yeshiva educated son as a front (the kid went to the same yeshiva as Alan Dershowitz; maybe it matters, maybe not). Israel then goes to war and NYS and other states buy its bonds with pension fund money. The airline uses its monopoly power to raise prices and squeeze Israel for the money it just borrowed from US pension funds, resulting in record profits. …Are they actually profits? Or just stolen money? Anyway, El Al then says it’s going to buy airplanes from troubled Boeing while two banks with common ownership (principally Vanguard) maintain buy ratings on Boeing. [14, 15] Vanguard is also a top shareholder at Boeing. [16] Its maybe a disreputable conspiracy theory, but…. Could somebody be stealing from Medicare and pension funds and then using the money to prop up a bigger bet on Boeing after maybe having driven down the share price? Let’s see what happens.
