Julianna Wanner’s Post

I recently wrapped up my time teaching at West Covina High School for the 2024-2025 school year! It was such a wonderful opportunity to work with the students in the Performing Arts Program, and learn about their goals and aspirations as performers. I worked with students across disciplines including vocal, instrumental, production, dance, and theater, helping them understand the importance of social media. This was such a rewarding experience working with the future generation of entertainment, and an opportunity to fuse my professional expertise with my passion for music and live performance. Over the course of the year, I taught in 2 formats - mini lessons and 2 hour classes, where we did a deep dive into personal branding, posting cadence, tips and tricks for filming content, analytics tools, and more. The students were so engaged and eager to adopt new strategies to improve their engagement and overall online presence! A huge thank you to Sarah Brill for connecting me with Tyler Wigglesworth, who runs a fantastic program at WCHS. Honored to have played a small role in the amazing work you and your team are doing!
