Today, we’re putting the spotlight on Dr. Basil Kahwash, MD, MMHC. 🌟 As an allergist and immunologist in Columbus, OH, Dr. Basil made the leap to go independent, a move that’s about more than autonomy. It’s about reclaiming the ability to practice medicine on your own terms: setting your own pace, shaping your patient experience, and building a team that aligns with your values. At Offcall, we love celebrating physicians who take this courageous step. Going independent isn’t easy, it takes vision, resilience, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. But for many, it means rediscovering why they fell in love with medicine in the first place. ❤️ Over the past year, we’ve had the honor of spotlighting other incredible physicians who’ve paved their own path: Dr. Ajay Bhatnagar MD,MBA, Christian Monsalve, M.D., Demetrio J. Aguila, III, MD, MA, FACS, Desmond Ebanks, MD, Shane Purcell, MD, and Susan Gunduz MD FAAP. 👩⚕️ 👨⚕️ Do you know another physician who’s made the shift to go independent? Tag them in the comments ⤵️ — we’d love to share their story next. #PhysicianSpotlight #IndependentPractice #PhysicianEntrepreneurs #OffcallCommunity #PhysicianAutonomy #HealthcareInnovation #DoctorsOfInstagram Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians
