Mid May culinary trip to Berlin as friends opened QRS noodle restaurant there. It's not just a CheckPoint Charlie mission but authentic food sampling fly visit, has to say it's worth it, a little gem in suburban Wedding district of Berlin! Food is good and service fast & efficient even when they had consistent queue while others half full, I guess value for money is the key! really worth the weekend visit! Monday back to Office for meetings and after a hectic day, couple central London receptions in evening to wind down the day... 1st at Ivy Club where E2E entrepreneurs community gathered, Shalini Khemka CBE never fails to bring in the right exciting crowd, we were treated with an incredible entrepreneurial story by Richard Brown of Tech Co Gravity! Always good to see old friends as well as meeting new, Alex Rocha BE(E) Hons, MIET, MIoD , Colin Cram FCIPS , Atif Hasan, Kevin R Smith, MSc , the No10 Jeremy Stern and Anthony Goodwin, Adrian Kibbler MCIPR Andrew Kibbler,Colin Smithers & many more, new acquaintance Nick Lockett , Edward Darling @MikkiMao to name a few. 2nd leg of the Evening was a book Publishing & signing Dinner by the popular Mehak Kansal of Epic Eatery with new recipe book Bindas at Mercado Mayfair where we witnessed a beautifully curated menu and as I have an already blobbed tummy with Ivy's exquisite canapés, my take from the delicious menu was the last course of Salted Caramel Gulab Jamun. Glad to see People's champion and Leadership Trainer Ceri Gott again, she was previous hugely successful at Hawksmoor. What a way to finish the weekend and start the new week. Much to looking forward to yet another productive week.
