AI isn’t optional anymore—it’s becoming essential. Here’s what I’m seeing with small and medium-sized businesses: 1️⃣ They’re trying to do too much at once. 2️⃣ Or more often—they have no idea how to actually bring AI into their workflow. That’s why every Thursday at 9:30am I host The AI Edge on Zoom. In 30 minutes, I share a practical AI tip and walk through exactly how we’re using AI in our business—what’s working, what’s not. My take: if a business isn’t actively experimenting with AI right now, it’s only a matter of time before they’re left behind. Remember when some companies said, “Why do I need a website?” back in 2000? Exactly. Join me Thursdays and see how AI can fit into your business: 👉 https://katahdin.ai/ What do you think—are businesses moving fast enough with AI, or not? Here’s a number that should wake you up this morning: 78% of organizations are now using AI in at least one business function—up sharply from 55% last year. But here’s what’s more interesting - up to 74% (and possibly more) are struggling to scale beyond pilots, with some studies indicating as many as 95% of generative AI pilots at large companies aren’t delivering full-scale impact yet. The AI revolution isn’t about who adopts first. It’s about who implements smartly. Recent data shows companies that successfully scale AI report productivity gains of 15-44% and 6-10% revenue growth, especially in priority functions like customer operations, marketing, and product development. The global AI market hit $244–254 billion in 2025, projected to reach $827 billion by 2030 at a 27.7% annual growth rate. Yet the gap between adoption and value realization remains massive. The difference? Strategic focus on high-impact areas, robust data quality, and workforce training. Here’s the contrarian insight: More AI isn’t always better AI. Companies seeing real ROI are those solving specific problems with targeted solutions - not just chasing every shiny new tool. The $15.7 trillion question for 2030 isn’t “Are you using AI?” It’s “Are you using AI strategically?” What’s one AI implementation in your organization that actually moved the needle? Here's a stat that might surprise you: 78% of organizations now use AI in at least one business function - up from just 55% in 2023. But here's the catch: only 44% actually track KPIs to measure their AI ROI. This gap explains why some companies are seeing 80% productivity boosts while others struggle to see any return. The difference? Strategic implementation. Real-world impact is already here: • Workers complete tasks 66% faster with AI assistance • Companies save 49% in service operation costs • Marketing teams report 71% revenue increases from AI-driven personalization Yet 73% of employers say they can't find enough AI talent, and 60% lack ethical AI policies. The opportunity window is closing fast. By 2030, AI could add $15.7 trillion to the global economy - but only for those who act now. The question isn't whether to adopt AI anymore. It's whether you're measuring what matters and building the right skills to capture the value. What's your biggest challenge with AI implementation? Profit lever #1 for AI isn’t “more features.” It’s compounding time. As owners, we wear every hat. You’re still 100% responsible for outcomes, but the right AI lets you automate, delegate, or eliminate the tasks that quietly drain your week. Here’s the simple play: Automate the repeatables (intake, summaries, handoffs). Delegate to AI the draft work (first-pass writing, code stubs, research synthesis). Eliminate the unnecessary (reports no one reads, meetings with no decisions). Why this matters: credible studies show AI returns real hours, from writing tasks completed faster to frontline teams resolving more issues per hour. That’s time you can reinvest in sales, delivery, or just thinking. You can always make more money. You can’t make more time. AI just helps you spend it better. What are you using AI for to help you compound time? Comment below!

Anam launched real-time AI Personas. And it’s not what you think: ☑︎ Deploy in minutes ☑︎ Talk like your top performers ☑︎ Scale ☑︎ Cost nothing to start It’s not just an avatar. You’re building the full personality: how they sound, speak, and think. Your best sales rep can now be in 100 places at once. Your top trainer can onboard thousands simultaneously. Your support team can scale instantly without losing quality. The companies that understand this shift aren't asking "should we use AI?" They're asking "how fast can we deploy it?" 2026 prediction: The businesses that thrive will be the ones that master AI personas first, not just using them, but knowing exactly where they create the most value. The technology is ready. The question is: are you? If you’re ready, link in the comments to build your real-time AI persona.

Here's what surprised me about AI in 2025: It's not replacing jobs the way everyone predicted. According to recent studies, businesses using AI aren't cutting staff. They're doing something different: giving their teams superpowers. The data shows: - Customer service teams respond 3x faster with AI assistance - Marketing teams cut content creation time by 60-70% - Sales teams never miss follow-ups with AI reminders But here's the real insight: The most successful companies aren't using AI to replace people. They're using it to compete with companies 10x their size. The gap is forming right now between businesses that embrace AI and those that don't. Question: If AI could handle your 3 most time-consuming tasks, what would they be? 💡 Want to learn how service businesses are actually using AI? Most people think AI is about doing more. We think it’s about doing less of the stuff that doesn’t matter. We’re calling it early. 2025 won’t be won by who has the most AI tools, but by who uses them with purpose. At Infinite Edge, we’ve spent the past few months testing what actually works in real businesses. The stuff that quietly saves hours, not headlines. Turns out, the biggest wins don’t come from coding bots or building custom models. They come from smarter habits like: ✅ Letting AI handle the admin nobody enjoys ✅ Turning rough notes into clear summaries ✅ Drafting that first version so the team can focus on what’s next Simple and practical ways to get your time, team, and tech working together again. If you’ve tried something that actually worked, drop it below as we’d love to see what’s helping businesses move forward. #business #innovation #ai #TimeTeamTechnology #productivity #futureofwork

Good to see 'How to protect and build your business using AI' from Alfred Biehler sponsored by #UKExportAcademy last week focus on business benefits rather than technology. The emphasis on focussing AI initiatives on business activities where time, money or people are being wasted makes a lot of sense and provides a platform for growth by grounding initiatives around savings. Also look for areas and activities where AI can be used to prevent losing customers - on basis that it cost much more to acquire a customer than keep them. I would add to that list by suggesting a focus on doing things which a business could not do before - eg how can AI help develop new products or propositions or take current offerings to new markets. This is the heart of growth where technical innovation grows market potential and revenue. Also highlighted in the webinar were some excellent AI services I had not come across: https://notebooklm.google/ and https://lnkd.in/eE2GUhTz

I have been following the evolution of AI for sometime now. Not the nuts & bolts (code) but the high-level of what it is and how it can help. From a ten-thousand foot level, and focused on the end user that wants or needs to enhance their results on the job, I have come to some initial considerations. 1. Does the AI tool(s) you use ‘Have to deliver an answer, or can it deliver an answer that simply says “From the information available to me to respond to your query, I can not provide a definitive recommendation or answer.”? 2. Do you have access to the full data, that your AI has, to do your own queries in an effort to validate the responses you are getting using AI? 3. If an erroneous response causes business risk, and / or damages. Who is responsible? A. You? B. The AI tool/ solution used? C. Both? D. The Business? E. “Don’t Know…” These scenarios are over simplified for sake of brevity here, but they touch on the basics of where I begin the conversation with clients just starting out their AI journey. Please feel free to comment, and / or reach out with questions, conversations, etc. We are all on this journey ‘Back to the Future’ together 👍🏻😎🙏

If your business isn’t embracing AI right now, you’re not just standing still… you’re falling behind. We’re watching the same shift that happened when the internet took over — only faster. Here’s the reality 👇 • Businesses using AI are automating repetitive work, saving hundreds of hours a month. • They’re closing more deals because follow-ups and outreach never slip through the cracks. • They’re outperforming competitors who are still trying to do everything manually. And those that don’t adapt? They’ll get replaced — not by AI itself, but by businesses using it better. AI won’t take your job or your clients. But someone who uses AI will.
