The County of Los Angeles, through the Department of Arts and Culture, has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for a contract with an individual or organization that can develop a draft Countywide Tribal Consultation Policy and Implementation Plan for the LA County Board of Supervisors Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors - LACountyBOS to consider adopting for Los Angeles County. The Policy will provide a framework for the County to establish and maintain effective and consistent government-to-government relationships and engage in meaningful consultation with California Native American Tribes with ancestral and cultural ties to the County. All proposals must be submitted by July 1, 2025 at 4:00 PM (PST) according to the instructions provided in the RFP.
