Solo Practice is Dead…💀 Most chiropractors think their biggest problem is new patients. It’s not. The real problem? They’re trapped in a model that no longer works. The solo model… where you do it all yourself, rely on word of mouth, and try to hold everything together through sheer effort…is quietly collapsing. Not because you’re bad at what you do… but because the world has outgrown it. When I started coaching over a decade ago, and being a great practitioner was enough. A good reputation, a few referrals, maybe a Facebook page— that could sustain you. But now? Patients expect instant responses. Teams need leadership. And the marketplace rewards systems, brand, and structure… not effort alone. The practitioners I coach who thrive today don’t work harder. They work architecturally. They’ve built what I call The Connected Practice. A model that blends human care with digital intelligence. It gives them freedom to lead, scale, and choose how they want to practice… without burning out. Solo practice isn’t dying because of competition. It’s dying because of evolution. And the future doesn’t belong to the hardest workers. It belongs to the most connected. Because freedom doesn’t come from doing less— it comes from designing something that runs better. When I filmed my latest YouTube video on this topic, I didn’t expect how much it would hit a nerve. Hundreds of messages from chiropractors saying: “I thought I was the only one feeling stuck like this.” You’re not. This is the shift our entire profession is going through. If you’re feeling the weight of doing it all yourself, it might be time to evolve. Not into a corporate empire. But into a connected practice… one that supports you, scales with you, and grows beyond you. P.S. I dropped the full breakdown of this idea on YouTube last week. If you want to hear the full story behind The Death of Solo Practice, I’ll leave the link in the comments below.

👉 Stop Competing With Other Chiropractors: How to Create Your Own Category and Thrive in Your Market The most successful chiropractors in your area aren't competing with anyone. They've created their own category—and you can too. Every day, potential patients drive past your practice to visit another chiropractor. Why? Because in their minds, all chiropractors look the same. When you blend in with every other practice in town, you're not just missing out on new patients—you're actively losing money. The average chiropractor loses $37,000-$52,000 annually in potential revenue simply by failing to stand out in their local market. Think about what that means over time. In five years, that's over $250,000 in lost income. Money that could have funded practice improvements, family vacations, or your retirement account. But the financial cost isn't even the biggest loss. What about the hundreds of people in your community suffering with pain who never find relief because they didn't know what makes your approach different? Every day you remain "just another chiropractor," you're letting these people down. The real danger isn't a sudden practice collapse—it's the slow, almost imperceptible decline that happens when you're trapped in the comparison game. Like the proverbial frog in slowly heating water, many practice owners don't realize they're in trouble until it's too late. Creating your own category isn't about reinventing your practice—it's about highlighting what already makes you special. What would it mean for your practice if new patients arrived already convinced you're the right choice? The most successful chiropractors have already made this shift. They're not competing—they're thriving in categories they created. How do you stand out? Start with the best compliment a patient ever paid you.

Most chiropractors still communicate like they’re using a flip phone—limited, outdated, barely functional. They share information, but there’s no power, precision, or persuasion. The top communicators in chiropractic operate differently. They use a proven system that transforms every word, story, and patient interaction into influence. That’s the 7Ps Framework—the smartphone of communication. A battle-tested system for chiropractors who want to educate, convert, and lead their communities with authority. Developed over 22 years, refined through thousands of chiropractors trained, and over 15,000 hours of coaching, this is the exact system I teach in our Influencing From The Front program and private coaching. Here’s how it works: 1. Presenter – Build bulletproof confidence and unshakable certainty. Master your emotions, eliminate fear, and speak with conviction about chiropractic in any setting. 2. People – Understand your audience—their fears, desires, values, and objections—so your message connects emotionally and logically. 3. Presentation – Create talks, videos, and ROF scripts that are clear, structured, and magnetic. No more rambling. Every message drives action. 4. Persuasion – Use the science of influence and the art of storytelling to ethically guide patients to yes. Move hearts, shift beliefs, and inspire action. 5. Practice – Turn nervousness into confidence through repetition. Internalize your message so it feels natural, authentic, and powerful. 6. Performance – Show up with energy, emotion, and truth. Whether it’s a Day 1, Day 2, or a community talk, you lead with charisma and authority. 7. Promotion – Use speaking to grow your practice, attract ideal patients, and become the go-to chiropractor in your community. The 7Ps Framework isn’t just communication—it’s a system for chiropractors who want to educate, influence, and lead from the front. If you’re ready to transform your communication and multiply your impact, message me and I’ll show you how to apply this system in your talks, your ROF, and your patient education.

Ever wonder why some chiropractors have waiting lists while others struggle to fill their schedules? 🤔 It's not clinical skill - it's confidence. When potential patients research chiropractors online, they're looking for someone they can trust with their pain. If they can't find enough information to feel confident in your expertise, they'll keep searching. 🧑💻 Here's a simple, 3-step strategy that's helping chiropractic practices build trust and attract quality patients BEFORE the first consultation: 📝 Start by writing down the 3 most common questions you hear from new patients, such as "Will the adjustment hurt?" or "How long until I see results?" 📹 Create helpful content that addresses each question. This can include blog posts explaining what to expect, short videos demonstrating techniques, or simple guides about posture/ergonomics. 📲 Share this content everywhere, including your website, blog, social media, newsletters, emails, and waiting room materials. 📊 Track engagement and create more content around popular topics. 💡 Instead of just promoting services, you're demonstrating expertise while genuinely helping people understand their health better. 🎯 When you implement the “Authority First Strategy, you”ll get: ✅ Patients who feel like they know you before they call. ✅ Higher-quality patient inquiries. ✅ More referrals through shareable content. ✅ Easier consultations because they're already convinced that you’re the right practice for their needs! ✨ Ready to try this? Start with ONE question this week and create helpful content around it.

Many Years Ago, I visited a chiropractic office where the doctor complained that he was losing patients. They weren’t keeping to their schedule. He wasn’t happy with Sue (not her real name), who was on the front desk. I watched Sue in action for a while, and then found some time ask her questions. She told me that when the doctor hired her, he referred to her as his “secretary” and “receptionist.” She had no job description and thought she was doing well by being cordial with all the patients. (She was polite!) The doctor had told her when she started that she should keep up with patient appointments. She wasn’t sure how to do it and got by just being nice! The situation is probably obvious to you, but it wasn’t to them. I met with both of them and clarified everyone’s roles and goals. I even wrote out some very simple job checklists and asked them to meet every month to review how they were doing in their roles. When I checked a month later, the doctor and Sue said patients were following their schedules more consistently. Both sounded more upbeat about how the practice was doing. This may seem like an extreme and obvious example, but in different forms, it’s pretty common. Office roles and their goals can become fuzzy, diluted, and vague. This can seriously affect production, organization, and morale. Everyone at work fills multiple roles. For example, the front desk may also include a collections role and a promotion role. The doctor may also have the role of CEO, Clinical Director, and business owner. In life, we also wear many hats: father, husband, sometimes handyman, etc. Just clarifying each role -- and its goal -- can help improve the outcomes in your practice. The future of chiropractic won’t be written by chance. It will be shaped by leaders who step forward. Over the years, I’ve analyzed data from more than 2,000 chiropractic databases and reviewed more P&Ls than I can count. I’ve had a front-row seat to what happens when chiropractors lean into clarity and lead with data: ✅ Lives change ✅ Teams grow stronger ✅ Communities thrive Every day in practice, chiropractors witness real healing. People walk in carrying pain, fear, or doubt… and leave with hope. They’re reminded that their bodies are capable of more than they’ve been told. But the world is changing fast. Technology and AI are advancing rapidly. Healthcare is becoming digital-first, automated, and less personal. That shift has created a gap. And that gap is exactly where mission-led chiropractors can step in and lead. Chiropractic brings something the system can’t replace: - Human connection - Purpose-driven care - Data that proves real outcomes This isn’t theory. It’s what the data has shown again and again. Practices that understand their numbers, communicate clearly, and stay anchored in their mission are creating significant impact in their communities. Imagine hundreds of practices aligned in purpose—each one blending timeless chiropractic principles with modern innovation to lead people toward better health. This isn’t a distant vision. It’s already happening. Leadership in chiropractic isn’t optional anymore. It’s necessary. The question isn’t if change is coming. The question is who will step forward to shape it. My hope is that what we’re building inspires chiropractors to lead with heart, clarity, and courage. The future is being written right now. This is just the beginning of a new era of chiropractic leadership. #ChiropracticLeadership #FutureOfChiropractic #HealthcareInnovation #DataDrivenHealthcare #MissionLedLeadership #DrivenDoc

The Untold Challenges Chiropractors Face (That No One Talks About) Running a chiropractic practice isn’t easy. Most chiropractors didn’t go into this field to run a business — they went in to help people heal naturally. But somewhere between patient care, marketing, and reputation battles… many find themselves struggling just to keep the doors open. Here are some of the biggest challenges chiropractors face today. 1️⃣ Marketing feels like a full-time job Unlike other doctors, chiropractors aren’t flooded with patients. They have to market themselves constantly — often without the tools or time to do it well. 2️⃣ Fighting the “quackery” myth Decades ago, the AMA launched campaigns discrediting chiropractic care — and some of that stigma still lingers today. Even now, many patients don’t understand that chiropractic is evidence-based, safe, and holistic. 3️⃣ The “just the back” misconception Most people think chiropractors only treat spine pain. In reality, many use nutrition, counseling, and lifestyle coaching to restore full-body balance and long-term health. 4️⃣ A never-ending learning curve Chiropractic is broad and complex. Some doctors specialize deeply; others take a multidisciplinary approach, teaming up with other experts to treat the whole body. 5️⃣ Underrated — but essential When NBA legend John Stockton was inducted into the Hall of Fame, the first person he thanked was… his chiropractor. Most professional sports teams have one for a reason. 6️⃣ A better kind of listening In a system where the average doctor visit lasts seven minutes, chiropractors often spend real time understanding their patients — not just their lab results. At the end of the day, there are great doctors in every discipline. But chiropractors deserve more recognition — not just for cracking backs, but for caring deeply, thinking holistically, and helping people heal naturally. 💡 If you’re a chiropractor reading this — what’s the biggest challenge you face in running your practice today? #ChiropracticCare #Chiropractors #HealthcareLeadership #HolisticHealth #PracticeGrowth #NaturalHealing #ChiropracticBusiness

🌱 Building the Future of Chiropractic Practice Growth-as-a-Service One of the things I admire most about the chiropractic profession is its independence. Practices are built by people who care deeply about their patients, staff, and communities. Technology partners should reflect that same mindset. At ClinicMind, we’ve chosen to remain independently owned — one of the few full-stack Practice Growth-as-a-Service (PGAAS) platforms left in chiropractic. Independence, to us, isn’t about “never partnering.” It’s about stewardship: building sustainable technology, pricing fairly, and aligning with the long-term health of the profession. ⸻ ⚖️ The Bigger Picture Private investment has fueled a lot of innovation in healthcare technology. It’s also created challenges when short timelines drive decisions — from predatory pricing to stripped-down support. For a profession like chiropractic, where margins are tight and patient trust is personal, that can be destabilizing. We’ve chosen a different path for now: • PGAAS front-to-back solutions (PatientHub, Virtual Front Desk, Crededge, EHR, RCM, CMPay) that don’t just document and bill, but help practices attract, engage, and retain patients, credential providers faster, and collect more efficiently. • Transparent pricing and long-term support to give practices predictability. • Teams who know the names of the practices they serve — not just account numbers. ⸻ 🌟 Why This Inspires Me Every day I see our staff working side-by-side with practices: onboarding, tweaking payer rules, coaching clinicians on workflows, streamlining credentialing and pre-auth, boosting patient communications, and reducing claim lag. We’re not just an EHR or an RCM vendor; we’re a Practice Growth-as-a-Service partner. That’s the power of stewardship. It’s also the foundation of a strong, scalable business that will one day be an excellent partner for investors who share those values. ⸻ In a profession built on independence and care, we’re proud to stand for the same — and to show that operational excellence, ethical growth, and full-spectrum practice support can coexist. #Chiropractic #HealthcareOperations #ClinicMind #PGAAS #IndependentPractice #OperationalLeadership

Most chiropractors focus on what they do for patients. But few realize how much growth lies in how they communicate with them. Connection isn’t a soft skill. It’s a growth strategy. I’ve seen this before: a chiropractor can deliver exceptional care, but if the patient doesn’t feel heard, understood, and guided, they won’t stay long enough to experience the full benefit of that care. Loyalty and referrals don’t come from ads or discounts. They come from communication that builds trust and makes every interaction meaningful. Here’s where it starts: 1️⃣ Summarize in their words. When you reflect back what a patient says, you show that you’ve truly listened. That moment of understanding builds trust. 2️⃣ Connect their goals to your plan. Don’t assume they see the link between what they want and what you recommend. Make it clear. This is about aligning their short- and long-term goals with your treatment plan. When those goals are connected, patients not only understand the “why” behind your recommendations, they also feel heard, understood, and far more invested in following through. 3️⃣ Follow up more often. After the first visit, after an exacerbation, or when a patient seems uncertain about their progress, a quick call isn’t just polite, it’s powerful. It shows that you remember their situation, you care about their outcome, and you’re genuinely invested in their progress. That single touchpoint often becomes the difference between a patient who drifts away and one who stays engaged. These small communication shifts can change everything. They can help you build steadier growth, deeper loyalty, and word-of-mouth referrals that no ad can buy. When you elevate your communication, you elevate every part of your practice. That’s how you move from surviving to sustainable, values-based growth. Follow me for more strategies that help chiropractors lead with connection, grow with integrity, and build practices that last. #ChiropracticLeadership #ChiropracticCoaching #ChiropracticBusiness #PracticeGrowth #PatientExperience #CommunicationSkills #ChiropractorsOfLinkedIn

Most chiropractors focus on getting more new patients… But what if the real unlock for growth has been sitting inside your practice this whole time? They’re the lifeblood and the spine of this.” That’s the mindset shift that separates practices that stay in survival mode from practices that scale with clarity. ✅ You stop doing everything yourself ✅ Your team becomes invested, not just involved ✅ Your practice grows through systems, not stress This is what being a Driven Doc is all about — building a self-managed, data-powered team that supports your mission and your lifestyle.
