Leeds projects get funding for business skills and ideas

We’re excited to share that funding has been confirmed for eight Leeds-based projects that will help people from a diverse range of communities and backgrounds to make the most of their business skills and ideas 🤝 The projects will see various organisations delivering training, mentoring and other support to new and established businesses as well as prospective entrepreneurs. This work, it is hoped, will drive growth and innovation by providing valuable insights into everything from financial literacy and marketing to AI tools and technological solutions to environmental issues. The knowledge-sharing projects are being backed by a new Enterprising and Thriving Grants Programme, managed locally by us and financed by UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Following a rigorous evaluation process, grants ranging from £25,000 to £36,000 have been awarded to Unity Property Services, Trust Leeds, Future Transformation, Come Play With Me, Startling, SHINE, Offploy.org, and FinTech North. We're proud to be part of this! Thank you to Leeds City Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for backing projects that see the potential in every person, including those with criminal convictions.

Fantastic initiative! It’s great to see Leeds backing diverse projects that combine entrepreneurship with innovation. We share the same vision — building solutions that make a lasting impact for communities, especially in the housing space. Excited to follow the progress and to add our own contribution soon. 👉 Pampas Holding
