Leibniz in Japan – Its a wrap The last two days of the Leibniz Association’s delegation trip to Japan included visits of the Research Institute of Humanity and Nature (RIHN), the University of Osaka’s ( 大阪大学) Medical Faculty and the Expo 2025 Osaka. At the Research Institute of Humanity and Nature (RIHN) the delegation received an extended introduction and insights into several labs as well as inter- and transdisciplinary research projects. At the University of Osaka’s Medical Faculty the Leibniz delegation had a meeting and productive exchange with the Dean of the Faculty. The visit of the German Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka marked the official end of the Leibniz-Delegation’s trip to Japan. Prof. Hajo Zeeb (Leibniz-Institut für Präventionsforschung und Epidemiologie – BIPS), Prof. Markus Huff (Leibniz-Institut für Wissensmedien) and Dr. Ewa Adamkiewicz (Leibniz Headquarters) held a stage presentation on the importance of interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, and international collaboration in science and how the Leibniz Association fosters collaborations through its various frameworks and programs.
