The World Bank has approved $108 million in additional funding for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's development. This includes $78 million for rural road improvements under KPRAP and $30 million for enhancing tourism through the KITE project. The projects will improve access to health, education, and markets, support safe transport for girls, and promote sustainable tourism. Over 1.76 million people are expected to benefit through better infrastructure, job creation, and digital integration in tourism.
