LIGNA on Tour – Exploring the Forestry Industry! 🌲   Over the past few weeks, our colleague Meike Sauer has gained exciting insights into the latest trends and developments in the forestry sector. She attended two German key events to network and exchange ideas with industry experts.   📅 On September 5, she participated in the Future Forest Forum at Schloss Blankenburg, organized by the Future Forest Initiative. The agenda featured high-level presentations and panel discussions on forest management, all set in the impressive surroundings of the historic castle. It was a perfect mix of knowledge sharing and valuable networking.   📅 On September 14, she visited the DLG Waldtage in Lichtenau – a hands-on forestry event set right in the forest, where large-scale machinery was showcased in action. Meike had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and connect with many professionals from the field, including Martin Schwarz and Dr. Lukas Emmerich from Wald und Holz NRW, as well as Dr. Maurice Strunk, Vera Butterweck-Kruse, and Ines Magdalena Brüling from DFUV - Netzwerk der Forstunternehmen und Forsttechnik e.V..
