Seven years ago, I surrendered. Not to anxiety itself—but to the exhausting, daily negotiation with it. I finally admitted that I couldn’t outwork or outthink it. So I found an incredible therapist. Seven years in, I still learn something new in every session. Most start the same way: A long, exasperated download of everything I’m juggling. And then—silence. Followed by a gentle, familiar line: “Lisa, let’s pause and celebrate.” Because buried in all the chaos… is progress. We miss that sometimes. We get so busy surviving our days that we don’t see what we’re building, overcoming, becoming. So today, I’m pausing. And I’m celebrating. You should too.
Thanks for sharing Lisa! This is what I needed to hear.
