📣 CPT Events Announces New Directors 📣 CPT Events is pleased to announce a new chapter in its leadership, marking both continuity and evolution in the business. As of 1st August 2025, Caroline Croft, co-founder of CPT, has stepped into a consultant role after 35 years leading operations; meanwhile Aaron Stevenson and Maddie Barlow have been promoted to Directors, recognising their expertise in events — Maddie runs the Landlord & Tenant, Rating business and works with the Rating Surveyors Association, Aaron does so in Compulsory Purchase and Planning, including work with the Compulsory Purchase Association. This means CPT now has three directors, with Mark Barlow stepping away from the title of Managing Director. As Mark explains: “With three of us being directors, it sends a clear message that we lead together, equally and with joint influence.” This restructure reflects the ethos CPT has championed for over 30 years; a focus on people, collaboration, and doing things differently, rather than following the crowd. “Our priority is to deliver excellent content, from the best speakers, to a focused and intelligent audience. That’s what delivers real value.”

Rockpool Investments is investing alongside the existing management team, including Rob and his co-founder Pete Frisby, to support ICE’s next phase of growth. The investment will enable the company to expand its geographical reach, pursue acquisitions, and secure access to additional premium events across the global sports and entertainment sectors. The HMT team acted as sell-side lead advisor on the transaction which included, identifying the right investment partner, negotiating detailed terms, supporting the business through an extensive due diligence process and project managing the deal to a successful completion.
