With 660+ court rooms, the Superior Court of Los Angeles County is one of the largest court systems in the country. Kudos to Judges and court leadership over the last few years who spearheaded the herculean task of technology additions and enhancements to the court system. It was an honor to assist the Court in a small way through the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Litigation Section, addressing these changes with the Bar and community. So proud of our Judges and the tremendous work they do with limited staff and resources.

It’s incredibly rewarding to see this initiative come to fruition. When I led the effort to launch one of the largest RFPs in the history of the Los Angeles Superior Court, our vision was to modernize courtroom technology and enhance the delivery of justice for the citizens of Los Angeles County. Under the exceptional leadership of Snorri Ogata (former CIO) and Sherri Carter (former CEO) during the inception of this vision and support, this has been now realized through the dedication, innovation, and perseverance of the entire IT organization and supportive court teams. I want to personally acknowledge and thank all of my former colleagues, staff, and partners who played a critical role in shaping and executing this transformation. This project stands as a model of strategic foresight, collaboration, and public service excellence — and I’m proud to have been part of its foundation.
