Centralized exchanges are under immense pressure. If you're not a Top 5, maybe Top 10, exchange in the Crypto market, you're more or less irrelevant, with a few exceptions due to strong player in some local markets. The FTX fiasco shaked the industry and vibed out a lot of trust in centralized exchanges. In theory, building up user trust is relatively simple, since everything could be tracked on-chain, so CEXes could simply build up a Smart Treasury and share a LIVE Proof-of-Reserves overview. Truth is, most CEXes work rather like banks. Moving funds, e.g. due to trades, are just changes in the data bank and no funds are moved on-chain, creating a black box for users. That's where TRUSTBYTES (Techstars '25) comes in. We build a Smart Treasury for on-chain businesses, telling you when to rebalance wallets, reducing (counterparty-) risks and even generate more profits.
