Macquarie Asset Management sells Aligned Data Centers for $US40 billion

Macquarie Asset Management, on behalf of two of its privately managed infrastructure funds, along with its co-invest partners, has agreed to the sale of Aligned Data Centers, valued at $US40 billion. Under Macquarie Asset Management’s ownership through its managed funds, Aligned Data Centers has transformed from two operational facilities in Dallas and Phoenix and 85 MW of critical capacity into a leading hyperscale data center specialist. Today, the platform consists of 5 GW of capacity across 50 sites under management, construction and held for development across the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
