Hey everybody, it's Kate from Cake at the National Restaurant Association show. Behind me I have 7 shifts, CEO Jordan Bosh and the President and Co founder of Cake, Greg Schmitzer and they're going to talk about our powerful integration together. Everybody live here at NRA Day one. Greg Schmitzer happy to be with Jordan Bush, who is the CEO of seven shifts. 7 shifts is probably in our booth here at the show and we are having a blast talking all kinds of restaurant. Owners, operators and partners all around the show. But I've got a few quick questions for you. Jordan #1 tell me the seven shift story and how you guys are impacting restaurants all across the country. Yeah, so the seven just story is 1, where I was working for my dad at some Quiznos restaurants that he owned. And my grandparents actually also owned some quick service restaurants. But it was there that I saw this pain point that he had around scheduling and managing staff. So I actually taught. It's hard to build code and build him something really rudimentary and small to help him solve that problem. Yeah, the first version of Seven Shifts is honestly just the ability to log into a website with the same username and password that all the staff shared and they would get an Excel spreadsheet downloaded. So it was really from there, it just became a passion project of mine. I wanted to keep iterating on it, taking his feedback, make it better. This is all sort of while I was going to school and doing other things, but I always love just kind of solving problems and. I got immense satisfaction when the thing that I contributed to building was used and those people were excited about how much it was saving them. Wow, that's got to be very rewarding, even early on. So yeah, see people using it. Like I said, we're super excited to again team up with 7 shifts and bring another new product to the market for customers and for new customers that are joining the KKK ecosystem. Last thing, everybody's talking about AI and with Cake here, we're showing our Cake Neo product over there where you can ask anything and get back insights about. Data, whether it's your, your staff, you know, your labor scheduling, whether it's your sales data, what are you seeing in AI and how you know, what can we expect from 7 shifts in the future where they are? Yeah, we've been doing some work internally, actually on a recent hackathon where we let some engineers and product folks and really the broader company kind of build some of these innovative tools. And what came out of it were some really exciting things around around AI, how people were leveraging voice to build shifts. How you know, we can deliver deliver certain insights for folks that to action, whether it's data on historical shifts, whether it's data on manager logbook entries, how we can sort of compile these insights to give people something more actionable that they can do to prevent some of the more I guess bad things that are happening in the restaurant that they're self reporting as managers. So I think a lot of data, a lot of insights. I think it's really just ensuring that we are bringing those together in a cohesive. Way to help operators solve problems and give them clear instructions on how to do that. Awesome. Well, thank you, Jordan. Really awesome to finally meet you and very proud again of the partnership that we have together and excited to see what we can do together in 2025. Awesome. Thanks, Greg. Thanks everyone. Awesome man.
Great hearing the amazing 7shifts story from Jordan Boesch!
