Exploring the Future of Print and People at HEIDELBERG Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG at their Wiesloch-Walldorf site and meeting the fantastic LinkedIn HR team: Achim Lang, Candan Özaltin-Gül, and Antonia Walter. We explored current HR topics and challenges, and I gained valuable insights into their approach to talent sourcing and employer branding. A highlight of the day was the extensive tour through the production halls – witnessing precision and innovation on this scale was truly inspiring. For context: the Wiesloch-Walldorf site is the largest and most modern printing press factory in the world, home to HEIDELBERG’s main production, assembly, and R&D facilities, as well as the Print Media Center where customers experience cutting-edge printing technology firsthand. HEIDELBERG offers a wide range of printing techniques – from offset to digital solutions – and in fact, many consumer product packaging designs you see every day have been printed on a HEIDELBERG press.
