United States Marine Corps’ Post

#Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit take part in amphibious landing rehearsals in Puerto Rico. The Marines are supporting United States Southern Command missions and the priorities of the United States Department of War and the President. Amphibious Ready Groups and Marine Expeditionary Units form the backbone of the Nation’s forward-deployed crisis response force. These integrated US Navy -Marine Corps teams provide unmatched flexibility, strategic speed, and global reach. Always on call, ARG/MEUs are capable of performing a wide range of missions across all domains — from combat operations to, intelligence gathering, to humanitarian assistance — making them a powerful and versatile force with no equal. 📍 Puerto Rico (Sep. 5, 2025) 📷 (U.S. Marine Corps photos by Staff Sgt. OORAH! I was always a fan of the Cobra and Super Cobra, but the latest iteration of the platform, I believe it's the Venom??, is just plain awesome!

Remember taking video and pictures of this kind of thing on the West Coast in '79.

Best days of my life! I’ll never forget doing a work up on the ship when they asked us to go to shore on the LCAC, hung out on the beach all day while the sailors BBQ for us.
