How Claude Code is transforming software engineering with AI 🚀 Claude Code, Anthropic’s groundbreaking AI-powered coding assistant, has revolutionized how developers build software. Built with an “AI-first” philosophy, this tool writes about 90% of its own TypeScript code and enables rapid prototyping—up to 20 feature prototypes in just 2 days! With features like intelligent filesystem exploration, permission-based local execution, and support for subagents, it’s reshaping the developer experience. Since its public release in May 2025, Claude Code usage has exploded, driving a 67% increase in pull request throughput even as Anthropic doubled its engineering team size. Whether it's speeding up code writing, running tests, or automating reviews, Claude Code is enabling engineers to iterate faster and smarter. This hints at the future of software development—where AI agents are trusted teammates, accelerating innovation while maintaining safety and simplicity. 𝗔𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗱 - by skipping the basics. I keep seeing new apps rushed into production with no real plan: 𝘯𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘯𝘰 𝘥𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. It feels fast in the moment, but when things break, those same teams struggle to fix their own product. 📌 Planning, architecture, and documentation aren’t optional - they’re survival tools that keep teams alive, help new hires onboard, and make systems maintainable. AI tools can write code faster. But if you build without structure, all you’re doing is generating bad code faster. What do you think - will AI push more “quick and dirty” apps into production, or remind us why planning matters? #AI #SoftwareDevelopment #Documentation

𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (2/4) 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭? 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 ⚙️ Ever wondered why Claude Code feels so fluid and capable compared to other AI coding tools, even though it uses the same underlying models? The answer lies not just in the product philosophy, but in how it’s built. 🔧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭 – Primary language, familiar to the model. 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭 + 𝐈𝐧𝐤 – Builds a CLI-like UI with React components. 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚 – Handles flexible layouts in the terminal. 𝐁𝐮𝐧 – For lightning-fast builds and packaging. 💡 Why this stack? The Claude team deliberately picked tools that the model already “knows” deeply, so it can directly contribute to building the product. 🤖 The coolest part: Around 90% of Claude Code is written by Claude Code itself. The product literally builds itself a powerful example of how choosing the right stack + product design can unlock a model’s latent potential. If AI-Driven Development is the new norm, our code review process must evolve. Right now, vibe coding lets low-quality code sneak past the human eye because "it works." The future of Dev is reviewing the AI's architecture choices, not just its syntax. Your quality gate just moved. #AIDrivenDevelopment #CodeReview #SoftwareQuality #DevTeam #VibeCoding

Have you ever built something with AI that worked perfectly… until it didn’t? Jenny Ouyang gets it. After shipping multiple AI-built products, she started seeing the same failures again and again. She noticed it was a pattern. Her latest story breaks down the few classic software engineering practices that prevent 80% of those problems. It’s a must-read for anyone building with AI who’s realizing the old rules didn’t vanish, they just moved. https://lnkd.in/g5-ZfbNe

Vibe coding is the next step in how generative AI impacts the software development lifecycle. But what are its pros and cons? While it can produce functional prototypes quickly, some question if it can create sophisticated, scalable, and secure applications suitable for enterprise use. This article explores what vibe coding is, what it is not, and how to use it safely in production software. #SoftwareDevelopment #VibeCoding

Context engineering and deliberate planning is the frontier in AI-assisted software development. As a software engineer, architect, and entrepreneur, it’s often tempting to jump straight into “vibe coding” — to translate the ideas in your head directly into production. But no matter how advanced our AI tools become, the foundation of great software still lies in clearly defined context and well-gathered requirements. The future of AI-driven development isn’t about coding faster — it’s about thinking deeper before we code. Want AI automation workshops and software built? Do look for me. I'll see what I can do for you.

lovable ai sells the dream of building software by just describing it. no syntax, no commits, just vibes. but here’s the truth: vibe coding is slop dressed in optimism. it looks magical until you open the codebase. missing tests, brittle logic, random dependencies that you never planned on using. it’s chaos hidden behind a polished ui. lovable ai didn’t fix software development, it just made bad engineering faster.

Steven Touw, CTO of Immuta, sat down with InfoWorld to deep dive into vibe coding and the future of software development. 💬 Steve weighed in on the risks posed by an over-reliance on vibe coding for software development, stating, “While useful for low-stakes prototyping, relying on it for real applications without testing, auditability, or access governance is reckless.” Read more below. #VibeCoding #SoftwareDevelopment #GenerativeAI
Exciting to see our CTO, Steven Touw, featured in InfoWorld’s deep dive on vibe coding and the future of software development. Steve’s perspective: As AI transforms how software is built, governance and control can’t be an afterthought. Organizations need the right guardrails to innovate safely and at scale. At Immuta, that’s exactly what we’re focused on — making data access fast, compliant, and ready for the AI era. We recently got access to Claude Code 🧑💻 at Rezo and it’s genuinely changing how we build. It’s not just faster coding. It’s smarter collaboration It catches edge cases I’d miss, suggests cleaner refactors, and turns half-formed ideas into working code. Its seamless integration into our workflow is what I like most about it. It feels more like pair programming with an extra mind that never gets tired. Well…Until your daily limit runs out 😝. Good tools don’t replace engineers. They just help us move from ideas to implementation a lot faster. #ClaudeCode #Engineering #DeveloperTools #RezoAI #AI
