You win with curiosity and by not allowing anyone to define who you can be! - Life lessons with Leena Nair I met Leena after eight years - coincidentally at the same place - London airport - pure serendipity. And while I thought she would have no recollection of our meeting or me - she remembered almost all details of that conversation and said that she never forgets a name or a face. In these eight years as we all know - Leena broke many glass ceilings as the world watched in awe - from being the Global CHRO for Unilever to becoming the Global CEO for Chanel. A first on many counts. To mildly put - I was floored by the leader and the person - yet again. As we connected on global careers, aspirations, kids, XLRI (as alums) in our small interaction - her two career mantras to me: - You win with curiosity - genuine interest in everything you do. - Never let anyone tell you who can or can’t be Thank you Leena for a super capsule in leadership in the brief catch up and being the role model that you are for the scores of us.
