Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost hosted the sixth annual Human Trafficking Summit on July 30 in Columbus, Ohio organized by the Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Initiative. The event brought together advocates, first responders, and community leaders for a day of education and collaboration. Among the workshop presenters were Mindy M. Lause, Forensic Nursing program manager at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center in our Toledo Market,Ohio market and Bonnie Price, administrative director of the Community Health – Violence Response Team at Bon Secours - St. Mary’s Hospital in our Richmond, Virginia Market. They led a session on forensic nursing, highlighting the populations served, program structures, and ways ministry programs partner with law enforcement, prosecutors, and patient advocates.
