Although the 5G network is the general trend, the 5G technology and base station construction are not mature enough in plenty of areas. According to the research, quite a few regions including India, Indonesia, Chile, etc. are using the 4G network. Some countries like Yemen have not started adopting 4G. Even some undeveloped regions are still using 2G. Therefore, the 3G/4G network market is potential at present. The demand in the 4G equipment market for high-quality and low-cost 4G routers will increase in the following years. According to the customer’s procurement situation and market research, the market for 4G CPE can’t be ignored. Every year, many operators bid for 4G LTE routers. The number of operators bidding is large and a project often requires hundreds of thousands or millions of units. 🙂

As of 2025, there are only smartphone from China that supports satellite 'calls' in the world. Why is satellite calling important? Because it is related to 6G, it is the focus of global mobile phone and communication companies' active deployment; it can also be said to be the current consensus of the industry. In November 2017, Neil McRae, Chief Network Architect of British Telecom(ticker: BTGOF), forecasted 6G communications. He believed that 6G would be 5G plus satellite network, integrating satellite network on the basis of 5G to achieve global coverage , and is expected to be commercially available in 2025. Of course, whether the network is widespread is only one dimension of 6G, but it is an angle that can be observed. In November 2018, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China included the research and principle verification of satellite communication technology integrated with 5G/6G into the national key research and development plan broadband communications and new network key projects. #AAPL #BTGOF #GELYF #Huawei #MediaTek #MSI #QCOM #UniSoc https://lnkd.in/gkSEd_Yi

Thailand is making a bold move to accelerate private 5G adoption. The telecom regulator plans to allocate 100M Hz of 4.8G Hz spectrum to businesses for free, aiming to help factories and industries deploy private networks that enhance operations and unlock new use cases. With adoption of existing 2.6G Hz 5G still limited, this new initiative could be a game-changer, encouraging partnerships between factories, equipment vendors, and operators to build tailored, high-performance networks. It’s a clear signal that Thailand is betting on enterprise 5G to drive innovation and efficiency across vertical industries. 🔗 Read more: https://hubs.ly/Q03KXGdY0 #Private5G #5Gadoption

Telecom 101: How 5G Impacts Lease Terms 5G isn’t just changing wireless technology — it’s reshaping the way leases are written. Property owners should be aware of a few key impacts: 📌 More equipment, more negotiations 5G often requires additional antennas and equipment. That means your lease should account for fair compensation when carriers add or upgrade gear. 📌 Access rights matter more Carriers may push for broader access to maintain and upgrade sites quickly. Clear limits protect your property and flexibility. 📌 Market terms are shifting With 5G demand growing, market rent and escalators are evolving. A lease written even five years ago may already be behind today’s standards. As technology advances, so should your lease. #5G #TelecomLeases #WirelessLeases #LeaseReview

China has reportedly imposed new restrictions on the use of Nokia and Ericsson equipment in its telecommunications networks, requiring the European vendors to undergo opaque “black box” national security reviews by the Cyberspace Administration of China. The policy also mandates that suppliers disclose detailed component information and the share of locally sourced materials in their products. These measures, viewed as part of China’s broader effort to strengthen control over its telecom infrastructure and favor domestic suppliers like Huawei and ZTE, could sharply limit Nokia’s and Ericsson’s access to one of the world’s largest telecom markets and deepen ongoing technology tensions between China and Europe.
