Following my recent email, I had an open conversation with the team about where we’re headed with AI. AI isn’t a trend, it’s a tectonic shift that’s rewriting the rules for all of us. We’re entering a time of extraordinary change: Traditional search (SEO) is fading, GPT-native search is rising. AI agents will fully automate countless tasks. If a machine can do it, a human shouldn’t. But AI has limits. People will still rely on people for time arbitrage, a competitive edge, or complex orchestration. That's where human–agent collaboration becomes powerful. Top talent will become the differentiator for pushing boundaries. That’s why we’re investing heavily offering elite professionals a clear value: Fiverr is where competitive talent comes to win. We’re already rebuilding how we work, and velocity matters more than ever: transitioning to a modular architecture, using AI to refactor legacy code, auto-generate documentation, and power custom workspaces across teams. Everyone must strive to automate their manual work, freeing up time for strategic thinking, critical decisions, and creative problem-solving. This shift is essential and impacts every part of the workforce, from global enterprises to solo freelancers. No one’s on the sidelines anymore.
Thanks for sharing, Micha
Fiverr, and any service platform, is probably thinking about making AI deliver most of the services. I believe that is common thought. A real visionary would make AI agents optimised to be hired by other AI tools and platforms. Whoever cracks that first will be the backbone of the new economy.
Do you see fiverr becomes a place for more elite professionals because any basic task can be achieved with AI tools very soon?
Micha Kaufman Dear Fiverr CEO Sir, I humbly request your attention regarding my disabled account. I’ve been a committed seller on Fiverr since 2021, with over 5 years of dedicated service and more than 1300+ successful orders completed. Fiverr has been my career foundation, and I’ve worked hard to build trust with clients worldwide. My account was recently disabled without a specific reason provided. If I’ve unknowingly made any mistake, I sincerely apologize. I kindly ask you to please review my case and consider reinstating my account. I would be truly grateful for the opportunity to continue growing on the platform I’ve poured my heart into. Thank you for your time and understanding. fiver username: bilal_designs07

What is Fiverr's strategy towards reduced business volume due to your freelancers losing some of their tasks to automation? I wonder what kind of visibility into this problem would your front-row seat provide.
The challenge for platforms like Fiverr and like our tiny little platform is that AI is eating at labour, not at software and so marketplaces that thought we were disrupting work and creating the future of work are being disrupted by AI...
This is what freelancers need—leadership that listens. Looking forward to seeing the changes that come from these conversations!
Micha Kaufman I just read your email to your team. It was a great reminder of the new reality. You are right on!

2moWith this mantra about what can be done by a machine, shouldn't be done by a human, will Fiverr be offering (or is already?) AI agents as an alternative to the freelancers' services on the platform?
