Europe’s “Nobel” Moment: Turning Innovation and AI into Competitive Advantage In recent conversations with CEOs, leadership teams, and policymakers, one theme keeps surfacing: how can Europe adapt and grow in a world that’s moving faster than ever? As this year’s The Nobel Prize in Economics reminds us, growth doesn’t just happen, it's driven by innovation, technology, and courageous leadership willing to challenge the status quo. If we want to protect our prosperity and maintain our standard of living, “wait and see” is not a strategy. It’s a slow fade into irrelevance. Europe has everything it needs to succeed — deep know-how, engineering excellence, and a rich tradition of solving complex problems. What’s missing is the spark: the collective courage to embrace AI, take bold risks, and turn our strengths into engines of sustainable growth. Just as during the Industrial Revolution, new global standards are being set right now. Those who adapt will define the next era of prosperity. At GloCoach-The Digital Leadership Accelerator, we help organizations lead this transformation with LANCE, our AI-powered leadership intelligence platform, to build agile, high-performing cultures ready for the future. It’s Europe’s time to reignite its innovative spirit — and to harness AI as the catalyst that that propels us toward the light at the end of the tunnel. The future won’t wait — and neither should we. #Leadership #AI #Innovation #NobelPrize #Europe #FutureOfWork #Competitiveness #Agility #Performance #Growth

A very interesting and stimulating day yesterday, attending the first session of the Science, Technology and Business days organized by Paolo Gaudenzi, the Scientific Attaché of the Italian Consulate in Boston. The focus of the day has been New Manufacturing: one of the key challenges to retain competitiveness in our countries. We had very interesting presentations on advanced materials, new processes, disruptive additive manufacturing, large scale composite manufacturing, fostering networking opportunities of institutions, university and industry. I had the opportunity to contribute to Fireside Chat, closing the day. We highlighted the great potential of all the topics presented, and I stressed the need to focus on a few key “ingredients”, essential to allow their industrial and business exploitation: Visionary leaders, willing to devote, or capable to attract, Finance to invest in the new technologies and processes; People with the proper Education and Skills needed to implement the transformation enabled by New Manufacturing; Access to Raw Materials and basic components in adequate volumes and quality. In a nutshell, to achieve the disruptive improvements expected from New Manufacturing, change should be implemented across the whole value chain, addressing potential criticalities in the supply chain SMEs. I look forward to the second day of the event, focused on AI, another of our key challenges. We should have more events like this, key to connect innovative minds, that will hopefully foster increased cooperation across the Atlantic.

🌏 Strong partnerships drive shared success — whether in international trade or digital transformation. Australia’s renewed focus on ASEAN reminds us that common growth is built on trust, cultural understanding, and long-term relationships. This is just as true in business and technology: the most impactful transformations happen when we bridge cultures, industries, and ecosystems. As a global IT leader, I’ve seen firsthand how innovation accelerates when technology is paired with human-centered leadership and respect for diverse perspectives. Whether in AI strategy, sustainability, or digital platforms, success is not just about efficiency — it’s about creating impact together. 🤝 Collaboration rooted in cultural awareness is the real engine of lasting progress. https://lnkd.in/gjZepGrR #Collaboration #Leadership #CulturalIntelligence #AI #DigitalTransformation #Sustainability

Last week, innovators, founders, and policymakers gathered at the Council of Canadian Innovators | Conseil canadien des innovateurs (CCI) 10th Annual CEO Summit. From IP and AI sovereignty to capital quality to the urgent need for forward-looking policy, the message was clear: Canada has the talent and ambition, but we need to support one another more directly and move faster if we want to lead globally. At Atomic47 Labs, we believe these discussions matter. Building AI that works in Canada means building the ecosystems, resilience, and innovation that keeps us competitive within and beyond our boarders. 👉 Read Karen Olsson's Top Ten Takeaways from the CEO Summit in this week’s edition of AI That Works: https://lnkd.in/gTvvtc2c #AIThatWorks #CanadianInnovation #AgenticAI #TechLeadership #CEOSummit #StartupEcosystem
