Agentic Arena Challenge 1: The Ministry of Flowgramming Imagine you’ve got 30 minutes, a stack of government-style PDFs, and one task: build a Q&A bot that actually answers questions. That’s exactly what Challenge 1 of the Agentic Arena was all about. 💥 Nate Herkelman read the docs, went Pinecone RAG + Opus, and shipped something that worked. Jack Roberts tried a bolder route with Hugging Face embeddings, until credentials got in the way (fail to fetch, anyone?). Two solid strategies. One held up under pressure. Sometimes, “simple” isn’t boring, it’s what gets you over the finish line. 💬 Be honest: in a 30-minute build, do you read the docs or dive straight into the workflow? Muahahaha! 😈 Little did they know at the beginning of the RAG Challenge. Both did well! Both have hit a wall at some point. Go watch it 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULXFSHNquZk&t=795s

This is amazing.
This is wild 😅 Watching the trade-offs between “read the docs” vs. “dive in” is like watching two styles of problem-solving clash in real-time. Curious how others tackle it in 30 minutes!
This is insanely entertaining to watch!
I wouldn't promote rushing into workflows but for ppl like me with a hard earned professional knowledge background is pretty entertaining 😁
Honestly? I’d dive straight into the workflow. Docs are great, but in a 30 minute sprint, quick iteration teaches faster than perfect planning. You can always fix architecture after version one.
